So, I kinda sorta maybe definitely joined a band. It’s called Moonboots. I’m playing bass, because, well, I guess it’s my goal to play a different instrument in every band I join/form. Plus, I’m a mediocre drummer and guitarist, which put together might make me a decent bassist. I dunno. Anyway, last Saturday I had not even learned one Moonboots song, and this Saturday (aka TODAY), I’m playing my first gig with the band, a free show from 9 p.m. – midnight at The Beat Coffeehouse and Records inside Emergency Arts in fabulous Downtown Las Vegas.
I cannot guarantee it won’t be terrible (I’ve basically has one rehearsal with the full band), but if you’re super bored tonight and want to subject yourself to my official bass-playing debut, here’s a sexy flier for the show:
